SWATCHES: Lonely Planet Cosmetics Silky-Matte Liquid Lipsticks (Debbie, Brick City, Lori)!!!

A lot of buzz has been circulating through social media around an indie brand that creates liquid lipsticks. Lonely Planet Cosmetics is a rock and roll inspired brand that produces beautiful silky-matte liquid lipsticks that you can purchase through its Etsy shop online. According to their site and their lipstick box, these lipsticks are all handmade and are cruelty-free and vegan. Each tube of lipstick comes with 0.25 fl oz of product, which is a lot of product. Just for comparisons, Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks contain 0.22 fl oz. of product and retails for $20 whereas these retail for $15 each.

I picked up three shades during their anniversary sale: Debbie, Brick City, and Lori. I cannot give my full review on these yet, since I have not worn them long enough. However, based on my first impressions so far, these are quite spectacular lipsticks! They are pigmented and are very hydrating. They feel so comfortable on the lips! No patchiness, no dried lips, nada.My lips still feel like my skin whenever I touch them, which I cannot say for a few other brands. The purpose of this post is to provide swatches of the three I purchased. I posted the photo below on my Instagram and I stated I would do swatches so here it goes!

Lipsticks come in a nice doe-foot applicator.

No flash/Natural Lighting.

Debbie is described as a universal nude.
Brick City is a brick red shade. I can see myself wearing this often during the fall/winter months.
Lori is a burnt orange.

Flash.

Now for lip swatches!

Hopefully these swatches help you if you were ever curious about their liquid lipsticks! :)

*These were purchased by me. Content posted is my own opinion.*
