I picked up "Tempt" which is the most "vampiest" of the 12 shades available. I have to admit that the color is stunning, but what the heck am I wearing on my lips?! I don't know what I was expecting, but I should have known by the product name that it's a "glazed paint." It really does feel like I am wearing thin paint on my lips, which isn't pleasant by the way.
The applicator itself is messy since it's in a squeeze tube, and the applicator or maybe it's the formula of the product or both, I don't know-- is just not good an applying an even application. Expect patchiness and an uneven lip color unless you apply a million layers on top one another. One pro about this though is that you can control the intensity of the color. If you want your lips to be darker, add more product. If you want your lips to be lighter, add less. It is however, really difficult to wear this product sheer because the color looks uneven too! What do I mean by uneven? One part of your lips is darker than the other part of your lips-- the color isn't evenly distributed.
My lips look much better further away. This is not a comfortable lip product to wear.
Do I recommend this? Nope, at least not this color, but even then this type of lip product isn't for me, since I'm more into a creamy lipstick formula.
- Messy, squeeze-tube applicator
- Thin formula
- Uneven application and even patchiness
- Takes forever to dry...
- Inexpensive <$4
- Ability to control color intensity... somewhat.
Don't get me started on their concealer either! That's going to be another story/review sometime later. I'm already laughing just thinking about it. LOL
